Color Burst Landscapes is looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Leader to help lead crews in the field, keep jobs moving efficiently, and ensure high-quality work for our customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has landscape industry experience, enjoys working outdoors, and can guide a team while staying focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

What You'll Do

As a Landscape Crew Leader with Color Burst Landscapes, you will help oversee daily jobsite operations and make sure the crew has the tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete each job successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Load tools, equipment, and materials before leaving for the jobsite

• Manage loading and unloading of trucks and trailers

• Lead and support technicians onsite

• Delegate tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work

• Review work tickets and ensure jobs are completed according to schedule

• Inspect completed work to help prevent rework or return visits

• Maintain accurate daily job records, including labor hours, equipment, and materials used

• Submit completed work orders to operations leadership at the end of each day

• Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas

• Read and interpret blueprints or structural drawings as needed

• Promote safe work practices and ensure PPE standards are followed

• Communicate crew feedback to operations leadership

• Help train, develop, and mentor crew members

What We're Looking For

Color Burst Landscapes is seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of landscape industry experience required

• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred

• Valid driver's license required

• Knowledge of landscaping projects and field operations

• Ability to lead, mentor, and support crew members

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• High attention to detail

• Commitment to safety and quality

Work Environment

This role is primarily outdoors and requires physical, hands-on work. Team members should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold, and in environments with noise, dust, pollen, insects, moving equipment, and other common outdoor jobsite conditions.

Extended hours may be required during peak seasons.
